LVMH Prize 2023: And the finalists are...

The luxury group has just revealed the nine finalists of the tenth edition of its competition for young creation which has already crowned Marine Serre, Jacquemus and Wales Bonner.


At the start, there were 2,400 of them. 2,400 young designers, women and men from all over the world, candidates for the most prestigious fashion competition, the LVMH Prize.

Launched by Delphine Arnault in 2013, this prize has already revealed great designers: Simon Porte Jacquemus, Virgil Abloh (former artistic director of Louis Vuitton's men's collections, who died in November 2021), Demna (artistic director of Balenciaga) and Marine Serre ( winner in 2017), Grace Wales Bonner (in 2016) and SS Daley, winner last year.

During the semi-final, which took place on March 2 and 3 during Paris Fashion Week, at the headquarters of the luxury group on Avenue Montaigne, 22 talents presented their collection to a committee of experts - journalists, buyers, influencers and personalities - some of the biggest in the industry.
