Recoleta: they ransacked two apartments a few blocks from a police station

It happened on Thursday night. The criminals climbed onto the first-floor balconies and entered behind bars.

His modus operandi was as particular as it was dangerous.

But, in a matter of minutes, a duo of criminals

looted two apartments

located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires and just

five blocks from a City Police station.

Both entrances occurred on Thursday night in a building with an address at 2000 Pacheco de Melo street. It is a residence that is located one block from Pueyrredón avenue and very close to the 2A neighborhood police station.

It was there that at least two thieves climbed - without raising suspicions - to one of the balconies on the first floor.

It was protected with a fence and a net that covered from the floor to the ceiling, leaving no room for a person to pass.

But, as if there were no effective method to prevent insecurity, the suspects searched for it and managed to open the bars of it.

Thus, through a small space, they were able to pass through the bars and enter the home.

The first apartment raided was empty, so the thieves took advantage of the absence of the owners and quickly took several valuables.

It was not all: once the robbery was finished, they jumped into the patio of the house next door -also empty-, where they carried out the same maneuver and ransacked its interior.

The event was alerted hours later by a 911 call from one of the victims, who mobilized a group of agents from the 2A neighborhood police station located five blocks from the building.

It was about a 24-year-old girl, who reported that when she returned to her home located on the first floor of the building, she found the different rooms of her house scrambled and a fence bordering a lung of the building that was visibly violated.

It was the access that connected to the patio of a second home, which also had its doors and windows open and disorder inside.

According to police sources, the Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 12, in charge of Dr. López Perrando, intervened in the event, which before the Secretary of Dr. Ceballos, initiated proceedings for robbery in the absence of residents.

Until now, the thieves have not been identified and the investigators seek to determine if it was two people involved in the act or if it was a group of criminals who carried out the robberies.

The violent robbery of eight motorcycles from a woman in Córdoba

An impressive and violent robbery occurred in the last hours in Córdoba and caused a commotion due to the brutality of the images that were recorded by a security camera: a woman was attacked by eight motorcycles when she was leaving her house by car.

The event occurred this Tuesday night, a few meters from the victim's home, located a few blocks from Ciudad Universitaria, south of the city.

As can be seen in the video, the woman parks her car in front of the door of her house, then goes in to look for something and comes out again a few seconds later.

It is there when the eight criminals appear on four motorcycles who, in a herd, surround her to rob her.

Luckily the woman had already closed the entrance to the home and the car that was there was also closed.

That is why, without being able to enter her house or her vehicle, the motochorros only managed to steal what she had on hand and then escape from her.

The surveillance cameras on the block were the ones that captured the entire sequence of the attack, which lasted less than a minute.

Hours before, piranha motorcycles did the same with a couple who came to their home by bicycle.

According to the story of a neighbor to, the couple was approached "half a block from their house."
