Prince William's visit to Poland
Kensington Palace said he would like to thank British and Polish military personnel involved in helping Ukraine.
On the first day of the two-day visit, the 40-year-old visited, among other things, a British military base in the city of Rzeszow near the border with Ukraine.
Poland is considered one of the most important transit points for support to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian war of aggression, which has been going on for more than a year.
At the same time, a large number of Ukrainian refugees live in Poland.
On the second day of his trip, Prince William met Polish President Andrzej Duda (50) and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Pilsudski Square in Warsaw.

Apparently, Prince William was initially undecided about what to eat, eyewitnesses to the spontaneous visit report.
But then he decided on our “Kanapka w chałce”, a sandwich in a braided bun with pulled pork, fries and garlic mayo.
"It is valuable that he supported the community that is so abused by the current authorities in Poland," the guests said, referring to the Polish government's crackdown on LGBTQ+ rights, human rights groups and the EU was criticized.
The bistro advertises itself as "your queerspace with comfort food", its logo shows the colors of the rainbow.

First, a table for 12 people was reserved in the name of Daisy.
"We had absolutely no idea they were coming," reported owner Paweł Zasim the next day.
Supposedly a birthday party.
Then bodyguards appeared, followed by Prince William.
The heir to the throne spent about three hours with the other guests who were already here, it is said, and they had a good time.
Apparently, William took the opportunity for a culinary change, since his father, King Charles III.
