A house under construction was damaged by an explosion on Friday evening in Prunelli di Fiumorbu, near Aleria in Corsica, where more than a dozen incidents of this type have been recorded since the beginning of the year, according to the prosecutor from Bastia.
The explosion sounded around 9 p.m. in this commune of the Eastern Plain.

,” said prosecutor Arnaud Viornery.
On the other hand, no tag with a nationalist connotation was noted on the spot, added the magistrate.
An investigation for "
degradation of property by dangerous means
" was entrusted to the research brigade and the research section of the gendarmerie.
On the spot, the criminal identification technicians found "
gas cylinder debris
", according to the prosecutor.
The owner of the house, originally from the continent, is a soldier currently stationed at the Solenzara base, according to a judicial source quoted by AFP.
Since the beginning of the year, about fifteen second homes have been targeted in Corsica by damage, most often accompanied by nationalist inscriptions.
In total, several dozen have been affected over the past year by arson or damaged by explosive charges.
