In a statement, the entity questioned Clarín but confirmed that the current vice president receives a pension for having been president and another for life for being the widow of former president Néstor Kirchner.

The National Social Security Administration (ANSeS) confirmed this Saturday through a statement that Vice President

Cristina Kirchner receives a double life pension

for having been president and for being the widow of Néstor Kirchner.

The text, released to question the note published by Clarín that reveals the double pension of the head of the Senate, highlights that the benefit of Cristina Kirchner

is like the one received by Isabel Martínez de Perón

.

"In her capacity as former constitutional president during two terms (2007-2011 and 2011-2015), Law No. 24,018 corresponds to her the right to a lifetime allowance equivalent to that received by those who have integrated the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation", the text states.

And it adds that, "in her capacity as the widow of former president Néstor Kirchner, she receives the corresponding allowance, like the widows of former presidents Carlos Saúl Menem, Zulema Yoma, and Fernando de la Rúa, Inés Pertiné."

The ANSeS also points out that the case of Cristina Kirchner is comparable to that of Isabel Martínez de Perón because, in addition to the pension for having been vice president, "she receives a pension in her capacity as widow of Lieutenant General of the Argentine Army Juan Domingo Perón. In other words, , two allocations, a characteristic of the Argentine pension system".

The document from the entity headed by Fernando Raverta ensures that the numbers released by Clarín are not exact.

According to estimates made by specialists, with the latest updates, Cristina Kirchner began to receive

more than 9.1 million pesos per month

.

In total, according to this survey,

there are 124 minimum retirements, which today stands at $73,665

.

The confirmation that the vice president receives this double benefit was known the same week that Sergio Massa ordered to exchange the dollar titles that the ANSeS fund has to safeguard the capital with which retirement and pensions are paid, for paper denominated in pesos.

Christina's numbers

Cristina's income represents

158 minimum pensions

, not including the 15,000-peso bonus announced by the Government in the face of year-on-year inflation that reached three figures.

As compensation, when the vice received the double pension again, she reported that she was giving up her salary as president of the Senate (at that time above 300,000 pesos) and agreed to continue paying earnings.

Faced with this situation, the former secretary of Social Security of the Cambiemos management told Clarín: "This happens because Fernanda Raverta -head of the Anses- and (Carlos) Zannini did not appeal the

sentence

in favor of Cristina, as they do with the rest of the retirees.

In her last statement before the Anti-Corruption Office (OA), Cristina recognized a heritage of

48,608,385 pesos

.

Two years ago she had declared 9.7 million, showing a continuous increase in her assets:

she nominally tripled her assets

without owning real estate.

The numbers are far from the 77 million with which he left the Casa Rosada in December 2015, when the blue dollar was at an average of 15 pesos.

When the first precautionary measures began to be issued against her in the context of corruption cases, Cristina decided to transfer her fortune to her children.

She there she included

fixed terms, 25 properties, shareholdings

in three companies and a vehicle.
