Burger Fest,
the gastronomic fair most anticipated by hamburger lovers,
returns this weekend to the Palermo Hippodrome
with innovative proposals and novelties to surprise lovers of this fast food icon.
The offer is enormous:
there are 25 stands and food trucks with more than 100 versions of hamburgers starting at $1,200
, with options for vegans and vegetarians.
To accompany the food, the festival features a beer yard and cocktail and wine stalls.
Also, desserts to end the day with something sweet.
The festival is for the whole family.
For the older ones, they organize table football, ping pong and darts tournaments.
For the little ones, activities in a special sector.
What are the news and new trends at Burger Fest
Burgers with types of breads and meats at Burger Fest 2023.
The festival brings new burgers with some of the meats preferred by grill fans.
In this case the
hamburger is flavored roast
.
Asador Campero will present a hamburger made with the favorite cut for the grill, with pickled onion, cucumber, bacon and chimichurri ($1,500) and Todo Brasa, a entrails hamburger, with bacon, scallion and smoked eggplants ($1,900).
Unconventional options are also highlighted
in this new edition of Burger Fest.
In Tres Fuegos they surprise with two curious creations: a
prawn and bondiola burger
, with feta cheese and citrus tartar sauce ($2,400) and a
lamb burger, with pategras cheese, tomato chutney and jungle rocket
($2,500).
Latin flavors will be present.
In Jordana they promise a Burger Yucatán: with guacamole and smoked habaneros ($2,000).
At Robertinho, the “Brazilian hamburger” stands out, a picaña burger with black beans ($1,500), at Teque Pops they will take to the ring with a Venezuelan-style Arepa Burger ($1,400).

Although cheddar is the most used cheese in this fast food icon, there is a growing trend to use others.
For example, the
provoleta will be the protagonist in the Provo burger
in Quinto Garage ($1,800 with fries).
It is a 150 gr burger with melted provoleta, grilled onion and bell pepper.
Blue cheese is present at Burger Joe's, at Joe's: double meat, blue cheese, caramelized onion, arugula and barbecue ($2,200).
They will also serve a version with melted danbo cheese.
They find it at Burger Múnich, in La Soñada, with melted dambo cheese, coleslaw and homemade mustard ($1,800).
And a very Argentine cheese could not be missing: in the Pampa Hamburger, the Creole cheese appears accompanied by blood sausage, grilled bacon and potato bread, in Burger District ($ 1,600).
Burger Fest brings more vegan and vegetarian options.
In this edition, the offer of meatless hamburger options grows

At the Felices Las Vacas food truck they present two new ones: Pineapple Express ($1,500), a vegan double smash burger with Tabasco sauce, double cheddar cheese, grilled pineapple, aioli, rocket and caramelized onion, on brioche bun, and the Chick to chick ( $1,500) with fake battered chicken, with guacamole, pico de gallo and mayonnaise on brioche bread.
Another vegan that adds: medallion of vegetables linked with yamaní rice, caramelized onion, roasted bell peppers and carrot mayonnaise on beetroot bread, with sesame and poppy seeds in Veggie Green Burger ($ 1,200).
For his part, Shami, one of the benchmarks for Middle Eastern fast food in Argentina, will present a new vegetarian falafel burger at the fair
, with potato bread and hummus
($1,300).
