The Knesset plenum will meet every day of the coming week to finalize the legislative procedures before the end of the winter session of the 25th Knesset. Among the proposals that will be promoted will be the "Deri Law 2" designed to prevent judicial review of ministerial appointments, the approval of the "Hametz Law", and the qualification of the appointment of Ben Gabir to the position of Minister of National Security

The Constitution Committee, headed by MK Simcha Rothman, will convene this morning (Sunday) to continue voting on the bill to change the composition of the Committee for the Appointment of Judges. This, despite the calls last night from the Likud faction to stop the legislation as part of the legal revolution. Later this week, the plenary is expected to convene to approve the

change in the composition of the Committee for the Selection of Judges. The Prime Minister's Office is expected to conduct a "situation assessment" before the vote in which they will try to understand whether the coalition has a majority of 61 to approve it. Meanwhile, no member of Knesset who called for the legislation to be stopped said he would vote against the proposal if it was brought up this week.

The chairman of the coalition, Ofir Katz, said that although 61 Knesset members are not needed in order to vote, the coalition would like such a majority in order to protect the legislation in the High Court.

The coalition estimates that the legislative process of the reform will last two days.

Today at noon, the special committee for fundamental law amendments is expected to convene.

This, with the aim of promoting the "Deri Law 2" which is designed to prevent judicial review of ministerial appointments in the government and thus to qualify the appointment of Shas chairman, Aryeh Deri, to the position of minister as well as to qualify the appointment of Knesset member, Itamar Ben Gabir, to the position of Minister of Defense Leumi against whom petitions were submitted to the High Court.

The bill states that hospital managers will be able to prohibit or limit the introduction of sour cream into hospitals, but they will not have the authority to inspect cases or similar actions.

The opposition plans to hold a "filibuster", an exhaustion speech, which will last 10 hours until the proposal is approved in the second and third reading.

At the beginning of the week, the Knesset is also expected to approve in first reading the state budget for the years 2023-2024
