Alberto Fernández was having breakfast
at the Embajador hotel in Santo Domingo with his small entourage when the news broke of Mauricio Macri's resignation for a possible candidacy.
The President could not stand the six minutes that the video of his predecessor lasts.

Only spokeswoman Gabriela Cerruti retweeted Macri's video with photos of Fernández with leaders of various countries and an ironic message: "
isolated from the world
."
It was about the diagnosis that Macri gave in his video in which he also called his successor a "puppet", who on Wednesday will meet with his American counterpart Joe Biden.
The national delegation that was preparing to travel to New York was unfazed by Macri's definition or by the reading they did in Buenos Aires at the Instituto Patria and in La Cámpora, who asked him to get off.

In the presidential entourage they officially denied the first versions that came out saying that the step aside of the former president and head of government could benefit him so that Cristina Kirchner does the same and gets off;
a possibility that would make it possible to renew political leadership.
However, close to Fernández they stressed that the moderation -of which the President boasted in his speech in front of the Legislative Assembly- will occupy more centrality in the electoral offer.
