The capture of 140 hectares is carried out on a property facing the sea, between Miramar and Mar del Plata.

It is the fear of the residents living in the south, in front of the coast where Playa Escondida is located.

"All of us who chose the southern neighborhoods came to seek

, we don't want a Suburb where crime, drugs and everything that entails begins," said Marcelo Bolonio, one of the residents.

During the week, at the headquarters of the El Marquesado neighborhood development and forest reserve society, some twenty residents met with leaders of the MTE and there they were informed about what type of project they plan to develop in the place.

"They informed us that they want to carry out a soil study to create community gardens without pesticides, dairy farms, homes, a school and first aid rooms."

On Saturday some sixty people arrived in the southern zone, among them the lawyer Gabriela Carpineti, national director of Promotion and Strengthening for Access to Justice of the Ministry of Justice, and took possession of the 140 hectares.

The agreement, to which this newspaper had access, indicates that it is a property of 1,396,983 square meters. 

From the Aabe they explained that "the ownership of the property will never cease to be of the National State" and what is authorized is exclusively "an agroecological production project to a cooperative on land that was completely abandoned, in disuse and in danger of intrusion ". 

There were moments of tension at the gate of the field, the police had to intervene to prevent them from going to the top.

Other neighbors bet with their vehicles on the interbalnearia route 11.

They were not even reassured by the explanation given to them by those who posted themselves on the other side of the gate, already with a closed padlock, that the permit is provisional and does not go beyond 180 days.

"Within that period they must present a project," said Aabe: "Environmental impact studies must be carried out or the project does not advance."

The agency also responded to the mayor Guillermo Montenegro, who as soon as he learned of the action of the MTE leaders announced that he will make a judicial presentation to prevent the agreement from being applied on those lands.

Former President Mauricio Macri also expressed his rejection of him, to which Grabois responded: "Macri lies, generates violence and has no proposal." 

It happens that "the mayor of Montenegro does not want a cooperative doing agroecological production to protect luxury enterprises for a few," they ironized.

“In these lands, an Agroecological Production Project will be carried out where rural producers from the city's fruit and vegetable belt will work, a project that will allow local supply of quality food.

It is about the concretion of a historical proposal for said lands, thought with the construction of the Chapadmalal Tourist Complex”.

They said that professionals from the National University of Mar del Plata and Conicet are working on the project with all the corresponding and necessary soil studies.
