Jean-Luc Mélenchon intends to bet on a situation of generalized decay which would overflow the institutions and would lead the country into a political crisis leading to the collapse of the central bloc and a hasty and direct electoral confrontation with the RN, which he believes can win.
Therefore, everything must rot for LFI to flourish.
For LFI, the state today has a monopoly on illegitimate violence.
This is repressive violence against a social movement for emancipation.
Conversely, Mélenchon justifies the riot, the breakage and the anti-police violence by speaking globally of "legitimate social defense".
Society would defend itself through its best organized, most resolute components.
Ordinary mortals will respond that ultra-left militias do not…
