Emmanuel Macron will receive Élisabeth Borne and the main executives of her majority on Monday noon for a meeting on the eve of the tenth day of mobilization against the pension reform, the Élysée announced on Sunday, confirming information from BFMTV.
The president will meet at noon with his prime minister, before being joined at 1:15 p.m. by the bosses of parliamentary groups, party leaders and some members of the government.
Emmanuel Macron had notably instructed Elisabeth Borne to "
expand
" the majority and to work on the rearrangement of the parliamentary agenda in the coming weeks.
During his television interview on TF1 and France 2 on Wednesday, Emmanuel Macron reiterated his "
confidence
" in Élisabeth Borne, who engaged the responsibility of her government, via article 49-3 of the Constitution, to have the adoption of the pension reform.
The Head of State hailed his
"responsibility
and confirmed that Elisabeth Borne still has his confidence, after having demonstrated that she still has that of Parliament, for lack of an
"alternative majority".
