The attack at the Megiddo junction happened about two weeks ago, during which a Lebanese terrorist set off a side bomb on the road, while vehicles were passing by.
As a result of the explosion of the cargo, one person was seriously injured, who was driving his car in the opposite lane to the lane where the explosion occurred.
The injured is Sharaf a-Din Hamaisi, 21 years old, a resident of Salem in the Jezreel Valley.
At first it was not clear whether it was an attack or a criminal incident, but after an investigation it became clear that it was a terrorist attack due to the use of a standard side charge, which is not typical for criminal incidents.
Shortly after the attack, a gag order was imposed on the details of the incident and its investigation.
Many roads in the area were blocked and active security force activity was observed in the area.
