And the look at the 150th birthday.

Langenbach

– In the anniversary year, the Langenbach fire brigade is well positioned.

This became clear once again at the annual general meeting, where not only was an impressive annual report presented, but also members were promoted and honored and junior staff were awarded.

And we are also well prepared for the 150th birthday, which will be celebrated with three other major events.

During the past year, Commander Thomas Schmidt and Commander Thomas Schmidt had to deal with 15 firefighting operations, 21 technical assistance and three security guards.

The fire brigade recorded a total of 734 hours of use.

Added to this are 46 drills (1331 hours), 22 training sessions (494 hours), four respiratory protection rounds (20 hours), ten service meetings (146 hours) public relations and fire safety education (630 hours) and 600 hours spent on the tool shed and equipment .

Youth work is also very important at the Langenbach fire brigade.

In numbers, this means 417 hours that have been invested in the offspring.

With success, as became clear at the annual general meeting.

In the knowledge test, Vitus Ausfelder completed the gold-blue level, Fabian Baumann and Quirin Ausfelder the gold level, Richard Kunda and Andreas Maurer jun.

achieved silver and Lukas Galiger bronze.

Thomas Schmidt and youth manager Johannes Schüller were correspondingly proud.

The latter was officially presented with the youth baton together with Anna Winter, which Biancagat handed in after more than ten years of youth management and back office (from 2012 to 2022).

In active service, the commander was able to welcome three members: Christian Haller, Maximilian Becker and Stefan Schneider.

There were also some promotions: Thomas Schmidt is now a fire chief.

Chief firefighters are Michael Zitzelsberger, Yannick Brandstetter, Paul Eigenbrod and Rick Eckebrecht, firefighters are Ehsan Naderi and Maximilian Becker.

Long-standing members were also honored: Florian Huber, Tobias Würfl and Michael Zitzelsberger have been active in the Langenbach fire brigade for ten years, and Andreas Huber and Christian Karl for 20 years.

Johann Meier has been loyal to the fire brigade for 40 years.

Three more celebrations in the anniversary year

This year at the Langenbach fire brigade is all about the 150th anniversary.

The fire brigade started the anniversary year with a New Year's Eve party.

When they asked the Oberhummel and Niederhummel fire departments for sponsorship in mid-January, the comrades proved that they "have enough energy to pull off a party like this", as the Hummler comrades attested to them after a boozy evening with fun tests.

Thus, the festival weekend on 20./21.

May, the Culinaria midsummer celebration on June 24th and the "Long Day of the Open Gates" on September 2nd.

The preparations for this are in full swing.
