A shooting at a school in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday left "multiple" people injured before police managed to kill the shooter, authorities said.
The attack occurred at The Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school on Burton Hills Boulevard in the state capital, Nashville.
“We can confirm we have multiple patients,” the Nashville Fire Department said in a tweet.
A parent-child reunification area has been established at 2100 Woodmont Boulevard (Woodmont Baptist Church).
The Covenant School has had an enrollment of about 200 students in preschool through sixth grade in recent years and was founded as a ministry of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in 2001.
This is a developing story.
