Guest of the “Good Sunday show” on RTL, the 77-year-old singer explained her choice to no longer participate in the charity concert.

On March 3, TF1 broadcast the annual Enfoirés concert organized for the benefit of Restos du cœur.

Unsurprisingly, the show, recorded at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon and bringing together some fifty artists, attracted 7.1 million viewers, or 43.7% audience share.

For a long time,

Catherine Lara

gave of her person for charity.

However, it would seem that the 77-year-old singer is no longer comfortable participating.

“I stayed there for almost 30 years, I started in 1985, I was there at the first concert, there were three peeled, two shorn and us on stage, it was quite an extraordinary moment.

I was especially lucky to live in a time when there were real duets, trios, quartets.

We had time to sing, we didn't say a sentence before going out.

I loved that era.

I have memorable memories of Maurane, Céline Dion, we were crying, we were all... I lack a bit of goosebumps in the story, what I miss is more emotion"

, she confessed in October 2021 in “Don’t touch my post!”

on C8 before adding:

“I had the impression that we were doing a big concert and now it's entertainment with a footballer, with a comedian, it's something else, what.

It has become a show where you have to be

Absent since 2012, Catherine Lara has nevertheless made a remarkable comeback in 2022 but not enough to make her want to come back this year.

“I was tired of disguising myself especially, because it did not suit me at all.

I felt more and more ridiculous in disguises.

Disguised as a lollipop or whatever, it was excruciating to me!

At one point, I said to myself:

“We are handing over, it’s been 30 years”

, she confessed to Bruno Guillon in “Le Bon dimanche show” on RTL.

If Catherine Lara had all the same agreed to return there last year, it is mainly to share a duet with Renaud Capuçon.

“I did a little booster shot, but it was to go play the violin with Renaud Capuçon, I enjoyed playing with Renaud because he is a magnificent violinist.

There, it was a little booster shot like that.

It is mainly because I felt that I wanted to pass the hand what”

, she concluded.
