The budget passed today (Monday) in the first reading with a majority of 63 supporters against 55 opponents.

The budget will be NIS 484 billion in 2023, and NIS 514 billion in 2024.

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir stated that he would not vote in favor of the budget, because the additional budget promised to his office in the amount of NIS 9 billion was not included in the proposal that was placed on the Knesset table - but in the end, he voted in favor.
