The actor who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel movies, Jeremy Renner (Modesto, California, 52 years old), has already taken the first steps towards his recovery.
This is how he shows it in a video that he has shared on his social networks after the accident he suffered last January with a snowplow.
"Now I have to find other things to occupy my time so that my body can recover from my will," Renner wrote this Sunday on his Twitter account.
The message is accompanied by a short 15-second video of him walking on a treadmill nearly four months after he became wheelchair bound following an accident that nearly killed him.
“It's like having a cane,” he emotionally comments to a man standing next to him.
He has also shared the images on his Instagram story,
The tragic mishap happened on New Year's Eve.
Renner was clearing snow from his house with a snowplow when he fell to the ground and the vehicle, weighing more than 14 tons, ran over him, causing serious injuries.
According to the statement made public by his representative, the interpreter "suffered closed chest trauma and orthopedic injuries" for which he had to undergo emergency surgery and after which he was admitted "in critical but stable condition."
The American actor remained active on social networks throughout the recovery process.
“These more than 30 broken bones will be mended, strengthened, as love and bonds with family and friends deepen.
Love and blessings to all of you, ”he wrote on Instagram along with a photo of his rehabilitation 19 days after the hit-and-run.
