Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attorney, Baez Ben Zur, informed him this morning (Monday) that he will not be able to continue representing him in case 4000 if the legal revolution is not stopped.
In case 4000, known as the Walla-Bezak affair, Netanyahu is accused of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
Ben Tzur's announcement joins the growing pressure on Netanyahu to stop the legislative proceedings in the Knesset ahead of the holiday break, which has been intensifying since he announced the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Galant yesterday.
The decision to oust Gallant, who called for the legislation to be stopped due to the security establishment's warnings of its consequences, brought tens of thousands to the streets across the country and the coalition leaders will meet this morning to decide on the issue.
The pressure on him is increasing.
