The series freely inspired by the novels of Caroline Kepnes, with Penn Badgley in the main role, will end announced the American streaming platform.

follows the tortured existence of Joe Goldberg, a New York bookseller played by Penn Badgley.

This seductive heart of artichoke, lover of beautiful books and pretty women, has the unfortunate tendency to eliminate those who get in the way of his projects.

During the first season, he fell in love with Guinevere Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail.

In the second, he goes into exile on the other side of the country, in California, where he seems to find his balance with Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).

Having become a father with the latter, he does not flourish in his life as a couple and becomes attached to Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle) during season 3.

The fourth season, broadcast in two stages in February and then in March, brought Joe Goldberg to England.

But in his eternal quest for serenity and happiness, this internally tortured character is constantly overtaken by his old demons.

Those who make him a real psychopath, multiplying cold-blooded murders without ever getting caught.

At the end of season 4, Joe returns to the United States on the arm of Kate Galvin (Charlotte Ritchie), leaving a few corpses behind.
