A "dead city" operation in the West to block the main axes
Tuesday, March 21, during an interprofessional general meeting organized in Nantes under the naves, an operation "dead city" was mentioned and voted on by opponents of the pension reform.
The latter, relayed since on social networks, is part of a larger operation concerning all the cities of the West, like Lorient, Rennes, Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Nazaire, Brest or even Vannes.
The objective is to block several axes of the city to motorists.
Last week, filter dams had been observed near the Porte de la Chapelle or at the level of the Cheviré and Bellevue bridges.

Public transport: lines cut between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Semitan communicated on its transport plan on this new day of strike.
The trams will run every 5 to 6 minutes (line 1), 6 to 8 minutes (line 2) and 7 to 8 minutes (line 3).
Busway 5 will run on green day timetables (as during February or Easter school holidays), as will lines 10, 11, 12, 23, 26, 30, 36, 38, 50, 54, 59, 69, 75 , 81, 85, 86, 97, 98 and E5.
Lines E1, 71 and 91 switch to yellow day timetables (like during the summer holidays).
Navibus, Proxitan and airport shuttle services will operate normally, as will line 4 of the Busway and lines 27, 28, 33, 40, 42, 47, 60, 66, 67, 77, 78, 79, 80, 87, 88 , 89, 93, 95, 96, E4 and E8.
From 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the time of the event, some lines will see their route cut at certain places or their advanced terminus.
Here are the affected:
Line 2 of the tramway: terminus at 50 hostages
Line 3 of the tramway: cut between Commerce and Hôtel Dieu
Busway line 4: normal route
Line C1: cut between Copernic and Foch Cathedral
Line C2: terminus at Talensac
Line C3: cut between Copernic and Gare SNCF Sud
Line C6: cut between Delorme and Foch Cathédrale
Line 11: cut between Square Daviais and Foch Cathédrale
Line 12: cut between Talensac and Foch Cathédrale
Line 23: cut between Copernic and Talensac
Line 26: cut between Gaston Veil and Delorme
Line 54: terminus at Delorme
Airport shuttle: terminus at Hôtel Dieu
Line 1 will also be cut between Commerce and Duchesse Anne from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic disrupted at the SNCF
The SNCF forecasts "
highly disrupted traffic
" for Tuesday.
Detailed forecasts should fall at the end of the day.

No canceled flights
According to forecasts by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, air traffic is disrupted at the airports of Orly, Marseille-Provence, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
That of Nantes is not affected.
On the other hand, as mentioned on its website, its access can be disrupted “
due to social movements and various actions to block traffic in the Nantes conurbation
”.
It is preferable to favor alternative routes depending on the establishment.
