Morbihan, Ille-et-Vilaine and Manche: in three departments, young LRs slammed the door of their section to mark their disagreement with the management on the party line.

leaves the party today
".
Already on Thursday March 23, the young LRs of Ille-et-Vilaine had voted to dissolve their section, deploring, in a press release, that Les Républicains had become “the little
telegraphers of Anglo-Saxon liberalism
”.
In Morbihan, the leaders of the young LRs announced on March 20 "
the dissolution of the local movement
" after returning their cards.
Motion of censure
The protesters notably criticize the management for its refusal to vote for the motion of censure against the government: "
The Republicans have definitively detached themselves from the people (...) and therefore cannot be the heirs of Gaullism
", summarize the young LRs of the Morbihan in a press release.
In the party, we relativize these dissidences which remain a minority among the hundred sections of young people.
Sunday March 26 the president of the National Rally Jordan Bardella, questioned on France 3, had evoked these departures by calling the “
sincere patriots
” of LR to “
come to work with us
”.
For his part, the president of the Republicans Éric Ciotti wrote to members on Monday to again defend a “
choice of consistency
” on the pension reform.

This vote was a vote for the Nation
" and not "
for Emmanuel Macron
", he adds in this letter which is, we are assured to the party, independent of the movement of discontent among young people.
The big problem, for Éric Ciotti, comes from the division of the party on the motion of censure, voted by 19 LR deputies.
"
No one will build a personal destiny on the ruins of our political family
," he said, reaffirming that LR is "
the only alternative voice
" in the political landscape.
