To the already tense situation of recent days, marked by an increase in spontaneous rallies against the pension reform, was added a weekend of violence around the large basin of Sainte-Soline, in Deux-Sèvres.
It is in this explosive context that the inter-union calls for a new day of mobilization this Tuesday.
All organizers ask participants to
"respect property and people"
;
but many fear a new outbreak of violence.
The previous rally, Thursday March 23, had already marked a plateau in the rise of tensions.
Among the highlights, the front square where the union executives are located could not reach the arrival of the Place de l'Opéra route.
In question, the multiple fires and overflows to which the police had responded by firing tear gas, some of which projectiles landed among the union representatives.
