At Ramadama in Poing, almost 180 volunteers collected over a ton of rubbish.
Then there was snack time.
Poing - Many bottles, broken glass, paper cups, masses of cigarette butts and boxes, wooden and metal parts, loose paper and plastic packaging, lots of foil parts: This is a selection of the waste that was collected at Ramadama on Saturday morning in Poing.
Including rather unusual finds such as some broken bicycle locks, a folding chair, a crowbar and a completely rusted fender.
In total, more than a ton of garbage was collected, Mayor Thomas Stark summed up on Monday.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)
176 citizens, almost a third of them children, had registered for the spring clean-up campaign.
The participants were divided into several groups, which cleaned in more than 20 areas previously determined by the construction depot.
This also includes the Bergfeldsee, from which divers from the AquaFit association took out rubbish.
After the work was done, the municipality gave all participants a snack in the construction depot.
