A clogged toilet is a nuisance, but in Germany there is usually too much toilet paper or other hygiene items in the toilet.
In Thailand, the grounds are sometimes meters long - and breathe.
A clogged toilet is first and foremost annoying, maybe sometimes also unsightly.
This condition is only really dangerous in a few exceptional cases and can usually be solved with a plunger.
In Thailand, the whole story can look different, as Chang Lantanoy recently found out.
Because when the flushing function on his toilet suddenly stopped working, he quickly saw the reason.
And it was several meters long and had scales.
The Thai shared his find in the
group "... all about Thailand snakes".
In this case, the toilet visitor had no legs at all, in another he had eight – not that rare in Australia.
Snake in the toilet: the toilet is clogged - the bottom is alive, hissing and has scales
Chang Lantanoy wrote under a couple of photos that his landlord couldn't figure out why the toilet wouldn't flush.
Neither of the two men meant it that seriously, because after all, the reason looked almost straight into their eyes: a snake.

Well, whether the python is really correct here?
Actually, the large constrictors are more at home in rain forests or swamps.

The exact species of snake was not mentioned in the post.
However, coloration and size indicate a reticulated python — one of the three species of python found in Thailand (the other two being the Burmese python and Blood python).

Some snakes can be found in the strangest of places.
For example, there is the boa in hand luggage or the yellow python that has made itself comfortable on a car while driving.
Neither forward nor backward - the snake was in an awkward position
Reticulated pythons are among the largest snakes in the world and can grow up to six meters long and weigh up to 75 kilograms.
Its diameter is correspondingly large – and it was precisely this that was fatal to Chang Lantanoy's four-metre-long python.
It fit into the drain pipe up to a point.
Then, according to the Facebook
post, "neither went
forward nor backward" and the snake got stuck.
Chang Lantanoy called the local snake rescue team and together they went to work.
It was not possible to pull it out due to its size.
therefore the snake had to be carefully cut free.

The python was carefully cut out of the drain pipe, which it completely filled with its circumference.
The snake was not injured.

Thankfully, this specimen wasn't poisonous, unlike the specimen that was lounging on a sofa in a South African town.
The family has a brave dog to thank for the fact that nobody was injured there.
Lucky - Python is released back into the wild
At the end of this action, in which everyone involved remained unharmed, the non-poisonous animal was properly hosed down with water - before it was released back into the wild.
In his
post, the moment of washing is also shown again in the picture.

Before the python was released back into the wild, there was a shower to clean it of sewage residue.

Here it is also clear how big the reptile was.
It is said to have weighed a total of 22 kilograms and was about four meters long.
