Munich – Many fans of the ZDF “Rosenheim Cops” are probably what is called “animals of habit”.

After all, the series thrives on cherished traditions and running gags.

Several stars have been there since the first season and thus for more than 20 years: Marisa Burger as the secretary Miriam Stockl, Karin Thaler as the farm owner Marie Hofer and of course Max Müller as the eager police chief Michi Mohr.

Even if Polat and Melbinger weren't there for long, they've gained a lot of sympathy in a short amount of time.

Most fans are just looking forward to the new season.

The background for the two changes in personnel initially remained unclear - in similar cases, actors wanted to reorient themselves, which could also be a conceivable scenario for Melbinger and Polat.
