Argentine hackers stole $800,000 from a British cryptocurrency company: four arrested

The arrests were made in the last few hours by agents of the Technological Crimes Division, dependent on the Superintendence of Federal Investigations of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA), after a series of raids in Miramar and Lanús, by order of the criminal and correctional court N ° 40, by Judge Paula González.

According to the researchers, it all started when representatives of the international firm "Buenbit", based in London, filed a complaint with the Specialized Cybercrime Prosecutor Unit (Ufeci), headed by Horacio Azzolin, and said they had suffered a computer attack in your cryptocurrency platform

According to the complaint, the hackers who acted in the maneuver seized a

The arrests were made in the last hours by agents of the Technological Crimes Division of the PFA.

For this reason, the Justice ordered a series of computerized expert reports, said the investigators, who assured that the four detainees will be investigated in the next few hours by Judge González.
