The reservists' protest outside the buildings of the Ecclesiastical Forum in Jerusalem, March 9, 2023 (Brothers of Arms reservists' protest)
Member of Knesset Moshe Gafni, one of the leaders of Torah Judaism, today (Monday) attacked the Ecclesiastical Forum, one of the bodies that were involved in the formulation of the legal reform, and claimed that "they are no longer right wing, they are left wing".
Gafni, who has recently made an effort not to stand at the forefront of the struggle for reform, is furious that the members of the forum have recently spoken out against the overreach clause, which the ultra-Orthodox factions demand to be promoted as part of a solution to the issue of not recruiting the ultra-Orthodox to the IDF.

For example, Moshe Kopel, the founder of the forum, recently said in a lecture that "the ultra-Orthodox want the overcoming clause, it is idiotic and will not pass."
