Inflation is accelerating in supermarkets

It now reaches 16.2% over one year, against 14.5% at the end of February.

Over a month, prices have increased by another 1.8%, according to Circana, which examines the tickets at the checkout.

"This is the most significant monthly increase since the start of inflation a year ago
