In the latest episode, a telephone joker Günther Jauch (66) is pretty upset – and the quizmaster can't stop laughing.

“The Artist”: Telefonjoker delivers a strange answer to the 80s question on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”

Between Stefan Schmidbauer and the 16,000 euros in “Who wants to be a millionaire?” is what at first glance seems a somewhat bizarre question.

"Under what name do you not only know the 'bird of the year 1988', but also some citizens at the end of the 80s?" Günther Jauch wants to know about his candidate - and gives him four options: "follower", "nicker", "turner ' or 'ass kisser'.

After Stefan has consulted his 50:50 joker and only "Abnicker" and "Wendehals" remain, he grabs his phone joker Armin.

He quickly taps on "Wendehals", with the reason: "Gottlieb Wendehals was the artist." Günther Jauch is visibly amused by this statement: the quiz boss giggles, grins and smiles at the camera.

It's a dream, "Günther Jauch is happy about the mention of "Polonäse Blankenese" singer Gottlieb Wendehals, aka Werner Böhm († 78), "You'll never figure it out." While Stefan Schmidbauer looks a little overwhelmed, his comes Can't stop laughing across the way - viewers haven't seen him so exuberant in a long time.

Ultimately, the 80s name question has very little to do with Gottlieb Wendehals, but rather with the fall of the Berlin Wall, but the telephone joker is still correct.

In the end, Stefan fails because of the 64,000 euros – but he can take home an impressive 16,000 euros.

Meanwhile, fans of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" puzzle over Günther Jauch's pixelated moderation cards.
