Financed by former students of X, the Polytechnique Ventures investment fund raised 36 million euros.

An investment fund financed by former students of the Ecole Polytechnique to support and accompany young companies created by young graduates from its ecosystem.

He has just completed a fundraising of 36 million euros from 160 former students, who have each invested between 100,000 and up to 3 million euros for the highest ticket.

This new investment tool emphasizes breakthrough innovation by financing above all young "deeptech" companies created by alumni from the engineering school, its start-up creation program, of its 25 research or related training laboratories.

It's a new concept in France, inspired by what has been done successfully for several years in the United States with alumni funds from Harvard or Stanford

,” explains Denis Lucquin, founder and president of Polytechnique Ventures.

A virtuous circle
