Animal welfare and rising costs: the riding school at the English Garden closes its doors in August
The listed riding school will close on August 1st.
The requirements for keeping horses have become stricter, which the riding school can no longer meet, as Medinger
Bild
explained.
As a result, those responsible could no longer meet the standard of animal welfare for the horses and therefore decided to take this drastic step.
The company is also no longer economically viable.
There are currently 40 horses in the stables at the riding school and the rent for a horse box is 900 euros per month.

The riding school will close in a few months, but two businesses will remain on the property.
The riding school café and the Moro Mou at Queen Street 43 in Munich will remain open.
