Due to the historic drought that seriously affected producers, the Minister of Economy,
Sergio Massa
, announced new economic measures to alleviate the situation.
As detailed from his Twitter account, the producer who is located in an area declared an emergency
will not have to carry out any procedure and will directly access the benefits.
This is how it was arranged in a joint effort between the Afip and the Ministry of Agriculture that will be issued in a decree of the Executive Branch.
In this sense, it includes
tax relief for the 60,000 producers who are in this situation
: the suspension of summonses and seizures of bank accounts, suspension of advance payment of Profits and tax benefits for the forced sale of cattle.
The suspension of the income of advances corresponding to taxes on income and on personal assets will be in force
until the end of the productive cycle
following the one in which the state of emergency ends.
These are those maturities that would have been set between February 1, 2023 and the end date of the validity period of the aforementioned state of emergency.
On the other hand, the
deduction will be made in the Income Tax for the forced sale of cattle
so that producers can deduct in the tax balance of the income tax, 100% of the benefits derived from the forced sale of bovine cattle. , ovine, caprine or porcine.
In the case of the monotax, the monthly obligations corresponding to the tax component whose maturities operate during the period of validity of the state of emergency or agricultural disaster zone will enjoy the benefit.
Likewise, the official remarked that a
payment plan of 48 installments
is added to regularize debts with Afip, so that producers can access existing financing lines in the framework of the agricultural emergency.
The number of installments will depend on equitable conditions for the normalization of debts, considering the origin and type of debt that you intend to cancel and the evaluation of the degree of compliance with your formal and material duties.
According to Massa, from August to date
they have allocated more than $40,000 million in plans and programs
for the different chains.
"We will continue to apply and take the necessary measures to help mitigate the negative effects of La Niña," she said.
To which he added: "We are facing the most serious drought in Argentine history and that is why we are going to accompany our producers with exceptional measures, who sometimes could not access the procedures."
Over the weekend, he announced on Radio Miter that his area is also "preparing an
export incentive program for agriculture and regional economies
" which, according to the minister, will allow "not only to increase the volume of reserve accumulation but, above all, things, give agricultural producers greater certainty".
Last week the Ministry of Agriculture reported that
the payments of the first installment began to be accredited for the 4,318 beneficiaries of the Impulso Tambero Program
, which assists with compensation for four consecutive months to dairy farmers of up to 5,000 liters per day affected by the drought and the impact of the so-called soybean dollar on the costs of food and land rent.
And in addition, the Ministry of Economy
formalized the creation of the Argentine Productive Strengthening Program
to assist producers who enter and keep fattening bovine cattle in corrals for a minimum period of 120 days and who send them to slaughter for the domestic market within a period not greater than 30 days.
