Tens of thousands of people demonstrated yesterday (Monday) across the country for and against the legal reform.

With the opening of a march of demonstrators against the legal revolution yesterday in Jerusalem, clashes broke out between some supporters and opponents of the reform.
This, near Cinema City in the city, where the demonstrations of both sides were held.
Supporters of the reform chanted "The people chose legal reform" and "64 on the ballot."
Some of them waved signs that read "I am a second class citizen".
Later, thousands of demonstrators who support the legal revolution arrived at the government building in the city, and tens of thousands of protesters against the reform began marching towards the president's house and the prime minister's residence.
At the same time, about ten thousand demonstrators who support the reform came to Saker Garden in the city, for a demonstration in favor of the legal reform in which Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, among others, spoke.
"There is a strong need for legal reform," said Jacky, a resident of Jerusalem.

In the evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement in which he announced the "delay" of the legal reform legislation.
This, to give "a time-out for a real opportunity to talk".
However, he emphasized, "One way or another, we will bring about the reform and strengthen the rights of the individual."
He also added that he is "aware of the enormous tension that is building up between the two camps and sections of the people. I am attentive to the desire of many citizens to relieve this tension."
Netanyahu added and demanded the heads of the security establishment to fight the refusals.
"There is an extreme minority that is ready to tear our country apart. It uses violence, threatens to harm elected officials, inflames fratricidal war, and tears apart the resistance which is a terrible crime. The State of Israel cannot exist without the IDF, and the IDF cannot exist with resistance" , said.
"The vast majority of Israeli citizens on both sides of the fence do not want to tear the nation apart. Citizens of Israel, I am not ready to tear the nation apart. After Netanyahu's statement, the headquarters of the central struggle against the legal revolution announced that the protests will continue, including local protest actions that will take place today as part of the struggle.
They also added that on Saturday there will be demonstrations across the country, centered on the demonstration in Kaplan.
The high-tech workers' struggle headquarters also responded to Netanyahu's statement and stated that they will continue with protests against the legal revolution.
"Netanyahu's inciting speech has already led tonight to an attack on demonstrators in Jerusalem," they said.
"This is not a stop. This is a failed anesthesia attempt. We will not stop, and we will not stop the protest until the legislation is shelved and honest and open negotiations begin, without an ultimatum, to establish a constitution for Israel."
The Movement for the Quality of Government also stated that they will continue with the protests.
"The coup d'état laws must be shelved completely. Neither suspended nor stopped," the movement said.
"I call on the leaders of the opposition to continue to fight against the dangerous legislation that could degenerate Israel into a dictatorship. Until then - the protest will continue to grow."

Later, about 150 demonstrators in favor of the legal revolution blocked the Gan Saker intersection and the Begin road in Jerusalem and also shot fireworks, threw bottles and attacked media outlets.
The police stated that some of the demonstrators threw objects at police officers, committed acts of violence, and tried to harm other demonstrators, journalists and police officers.
Also in Tel Aviv, the police reported throwing bottles and throwing fences at police officers during the protests.
It was also reported that a policeman was injured by a metal fence that was thrown at him, and another policeman from a can of beer.
Later, a mace was activated on the spot, and horsemen stopped the demonstrators.

Later, demonstrators in favor of the legal reform set up a "breathing barrier" at the Tel Yosef intersection.
In doing so, they stood at the entrance to the settlement and allowed the passage of military vehicles, police and local residents only.
A woman from Kibbutz Maoz Haim said that she was trying to return to her home after picking up her children from basketball practice, when the protesters stopped her car.
She also added that they surrounded her car, cursed her and spat on the car.
Later, an Arab taxi driver was attacked by protesters at a gas station in the Jerusalem area.
The police said that the driver got into the center of violent protests, when several protesters began to gather around him and attack his vehicle.
It was also reported that he tried to escape from the scene when the protesters chased him, attacked him and caused damage to his car.
During his escape, the police said, he slightly hit the leg of a pedestrian and another vehicle.
An investigation into the circumstances of the case has been opened.
Another Arab youth was attacked last night by pro-legal reform protesters in Jerusalem.
This, it was reported, while shouting "death to the Arabs" by the demonstrators.
