Last Tuesday, March 21, the civil and public process began for which the actress and businesswoman Gwyneth Paltrow (Los Angeles, 50 years old) is being tried for a ski accident at a Utah resort (USA) in which she was seen involved seven years ago, in 2016. The plaintiff, Terry Sanderson, a 69-year-old retired doctor, is seeking compensation of $300,000 for damages caused after the Oscar-winning performer "forcefully knocked him down and knocked him unconscious."
In the lawsuit, the doctor explained how the incident caused him "a permanent traumatic brain injury, left him with four broken ribs, pain, depression, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress and disfigurement."
For her part, Gwyneth Paltrow has responded with another demand for the sum of one dollar, alleging that it was he who collided with her.
The process, which is scheduled to last eight days, has gained media attention since it was learned that the actress was going to testify in it.
