Three Likud members urgently petitioned the Likud Supreme Court today (Wednesday) demanding the termination of the membership of Pinchas Idan, chairman of the airport authority committee. In the petition, which was submitted by the chairman of the liberal group in Likud, Amir Weitman, the chairman of the Likud faction in Bnei Brak, Jacob Vider, and Yossi Yehudein, another Likud member, it is claimed that Idan acted in violation of the Likud constitution "when he abnormally and irrevocably helped the left-wing parties competing with Likud, to the extent Stopping the important legal reform and as a crime to topple the right-wing government led by the Likud!".

However, according to a publication by Michael Shemesh in Kan 11 yesterday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office was in contact with officials on behalf of the Histadrut throughout the day of the strike in the economy, and worked so that the Histadrut would apply pressure and help Netanyahu politically against the partners who opposed stopping the reform.
