Asian reinforcements for the district clinic

The Kreisklinik Ebersberg welcomed 19 new nurses from the Philippines to Ebersberg.

The house urgently needs the support.

– The classroom of the vocational school for nursing offers space for 20 people, in which 19 Filipinos are sitting on Wednesday, March 29th.

The trained nurses, some of whom have previously worked in Saudi Arabia, have been in Ebersberg for almost a week.

Clinic offers a slow transition for newcomers

They are still arriving - the clinic offers them a slow transition.

German lessons to consolidate the existing knowledge and training to make the work easier for the respective wards, such as the intensive care unit, the operating theater and the central emergency room.

District administrator says: "We need you urgently"

The specialists were officially welcomed on Wednesday by District Administrator and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ebersberg District Clinic, Robert Niedergesäß, Head of the Central and Education Department at the District Office, Brigitte Keller, and Managing Director of the clinic, Stefan Huber.

"We need you urgently," said the district administrator.

"They ensure that operations are maintained."

As nurses, the new employees are very close to the patient, which also makes them important for the district.

Because: The clinic is important because the health care of the people is important, explained the district administrator, with the nursing staff behind the school desks loudly agreeing with him.

Very good education in the Philippines

The fact that 19 new employees come from the Philippines is due to the very good training of nursing staff there, explains Katharina Ober, press spokeswoman for the clinic.

Other clinics have also had “great experiences” with Filipino nurses.

And: The Philippines train nurses beyond your own needs.

"It was important to us that the country from which we employ nurses trains - and can train - more specialists than it needs itself."

The 19 newcomers will be housed in the staff building right next to the district clinic.
