Courbefy, this village abandoned by its "faceless billionaire"

INVESTIGATION – This Limousin hamlet was bought at auction in 2012 by a sulphurous Korean businessman, murdered in 2014. The town, which he had promised to rebuild, is now in ruins.

argues the former mayor of Saint-Nicolas-Courbefy, the municipality to which the hamlet is attached.

It's hard to imagine that this village has been the property of a wealthy South Korean family since 2012. A family whose fortune is matched only by its run-ins with the law.
