A firefighter from the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) assigned to Guyana as part of the mission to protect the space center in Kourou died on Wednesday in a road accident and three of his colleagues were injured, announced the Ministry of the Interior.
The drama took place Wednesday morning around 8:30 am: four BSPP soldiers intervened for an emergency mission on the Soyuz launch pad.

Paris firefighters from the specialized Kourou unit were dispatched as soon as possible to take care of the injured and carry out the extrication.
One of the soldiers is transported to Kourou hospital.
Despite all the efforts made, he died in the hospital.
The three other members of the crew were injured.
Their vital prognosis is no longer engaged
