The police are investigating an asylum seeker from Azerbaijan for attempted killing.
Eitting – The 49-year-old is accused of threatening a roommate with a knife in a refugee accommodation in Eitting.
However, the 28-year-old Jordanian managed to escape to his room and barricade himself.
Police say the Azerbaijani got into a fight with a third resident around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Jordanian filmed the altercation on his cell phone.
This angered the 49-year-old so much that he grabbed a kitchen knife and tried to stab the 28-year-old in the stomach.
Several police cars rushed to Eitting.
The officers were able to arrest the 49-year-old.
He offered no resistance.
