A special Best workers in France (MOF) episode this week in “Top Chef”.
A dozen blue-white-red collar workers were invited to challenge and judge each candidate on a classic and technical recipe from French gastronomy, from Hollandaise sauce to the palace omelette, including English breadcrumbs and soufflé pancakes.
The eliminatory test concerned the puff pastry crust.

The naturopathic chef certainly missed the Hollandaise sauce, but did she deserve the elimination round?
Philippe Etchebest unfairly sent it while Carla Ferrari, for example, another candidate from his brigade, had shone less (see below).
Fortunately, it passed this stage with flying colors thanks to a “
” puff pastry crust according to the judges.
