Agents located the armed person on the second floor and shot him dead. "Do not move! Don't move!" they yelled at him. Warning: the video is disturbing.

The Nashville police published on Tuesday on the social network YouTube images captured by the body cameras of the agents who responded to the shooting on Monday at a Christian school and killed the armed person who murdered three children and three adults.

Watch the video here (warning: images may be disturbing):

The images show the arrival of the police officers at The Covenant School and how they search the corridors while the center's emergency alarms sound.

After hearing shots, the agents go up to the second floor, where they locate Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28,

in the

lobby .

Two officers, Rex Engelbert and Michael Collazo, shoot Hale, according to ABC News.

"Don't move! Don't move!" they shout, as Hale lies on the ground after being shot multiple times, as seen in the video.

Police Chief John Drake told ABC News that officers "did not hesitate."

According to the police, the person who perpetrated the shooting was killed 14 minutes after receiving the first call to the 911 emergency phone.

Nashville police also released video from the educational center's surveillance cameras, in which an armed person is seen arriving before panic broke out among students and school staff inside the facility.

The redacted footage shows Hale driving a Honda Fit car to The Covenant School campus shortly before 10 a.m., according to a statement from the Police Department.

About 10 minutes later, cameras inside the school capture the breaking of glass in several doors, followed by someone wearing a camouflage vest and pants, with a backwards red baseball cap.

Attack in Nashville adds to 58 school shootings that have occurred in the last 10 years in the US.

In the video, which is just over two minutes long and has no audio, you can see how a rifle is hanging from one of his men.

He then goes into different rooms and walks past the door of a children's ministry with a second rifle raised.

The images suggest that the fire alarm seems to turn on and off.

Three nine-year-old students identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, and three adults - Cynthia Peak, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Mike Hill, 61 - were killed in the shooting.

Koonce was the school's principal, and Hill was a janitor.

The person responsible for the shooting, who according to the police had studied at school, was shot dead by the agents shortly after arriving at the scene.

"The response was quick," said her spokeswoman, Don Aaron.

Officers heard gunshots from the second level and "immediately headed" there, Aaron said.

When they arrived they saw Hale, who was shooting, he added.

Five police officers confronted Hale and two shot him.

Authorities have not yet determined what prompted the shooting, but they suspect it may have played a role in a feeling of rancor Hale allegedly held.

“We think there was resentment about having to go to that school,” the police chief told NBC News, without specifying whether the shooting was specifically targeted.

Police have said the shooting appeared to have been carefully planned with detailed maps of the location and surveillance details.

“We have some writing that we are reviewing that corresponds to this date, to the actual incident,” Drake revealed, “we have a map drawn of how this was all going to play out.”
