“He knew I was going to forget to switch off my phone!”: who trapped Benoît Poelvoorde in “C à vous”?


VIDEO – Live from the France 5 talk show, the actor received a call from an old friend, a situation that caused hilarity on the set.

“I am committing an unforgivable fault

,” said Benoît Poelvoorde in full live.

Guest of "C to you" this Thursday evening, the actor struggled to hide a giggle, enough to pique the curiosity of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine who pushed him to explain himself.

"I forgot to turn off my phone and it vibrates in my behind

," he confessed hilariously before imagining the words of the talk show management without his knowledge


“Behind the scenes, they must not believe it and call me an asshole for leaving my phone open”

, presumed the comedian.

Under the laughter of the team on set, Benoît Poelvoorde continued by launching a bet.

“I guarantee you that if I watch, it is surely an idiot who describes me that I go on the TV (sic)”

, he added with his language known to be without filter.

The actor ended up taking out his phone without losing his smile.

"Guess who's calling me?"

, he questioned the assembly before retorting in stride that it was François Damiens, recently seen in the last season of “LOL: who laughs, comes out!”

The two Belgians have been friends for a long time.

An accomplice relationship which prompted the guest of “C to you” to deduce that his sidekick had called him voluntarily to annoy him.

"He didn't tell me anything, he just let it ring with the idea that I must have forgotten to turn off my phone

," said the comedian.

"I'm even sure he did it on purpose

," concluded Benoît Poelvoorde with a laugh before Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine changed the subject.
