Some 250 comic book authors meet their readers at the 48h BD festival, in France and Belgium, Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1.

This is an opportunity for many of them to promote their profession, in places that do not always have many cultural events
," festival coordinator Patrick Hourcade told AFP.
The festival also invites teachers and librarians to carry out activities around the ninth art with their students.
It brings together 10 partner publishers who sell 220,000 comics at a reduced price, 3 euros this year.
50,000 others are given to schools, communities and social centers or charities.
In both countries, 1,700 bookstores are partners.
