Another act of vandalism committed in Bordeaux.
After the fire in the town hall, the tags on the police station and the gendarmerie and the degradation of several parliamentary offices, it is that of the deputy Thomas Cazenave (Renaissance) which was vandalized in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, in Bordeaux.
He is the fifth deputy of the majority targeted by such degradations in the commune, about a week after the elected Renaissance Sophie Panonacle and Pascal Lavergne, and the elected representatives of the MoDem Sophie Mette and Frédéric Zgainski.

," wrote the elected official on Twitter.

We will not give in to intimidation or violence,
” explains the deputy, whose tenure had already been downgraded on March 25 by the far-right group Action Française Bordeaux.
The mayor of the city, Pierre Hurmic, reacted quickly on Thursday.

I strongly condemn these acts of vandalism which are unbearable for any democrat worthy of the name
”, affirms the city councilor.

The Republic is our common good, which allows us to form a society and to confront our ideas peacefully and with respect.
Threats, intimidation or violence cannot be tolerated.
The acts of vandalism suffered by the deputy and his collaborator are signed and prove that their far-right authors are indeed acting against the Republic,
