Nearly 1.6 million French people are eligible for the wood voucher, while 2.6 million are entitled to the fuel oil voucher.

While energy prices are driving up French bills, the government has just announced the extension of its energy voucher system.

This concerns wood and fuel cheques, calculated on the reference tax income.

"

We are going to extend the wood check until the end of May and the fuel check until the end of April

", i.e. an additional month, the Minister of Transition said on Thursday morning on Sud Radio. energy, Agnès Pannier-Runacher.

According to her, this renewal "

is important because this aid must reach the French

".

In total, 2.6 million of them are eligible for the wood voucher, while 1.6 million have the possibility of receiving the fuel oil voucher.

The Minister also reminds that it is enough to make a request on the government site.

Regarding the eligibility criteria, the student wood check amounts to 200 euros for “

households using pellets and whose reference tax income ratio and composition of the tax household is less than 14,400 euros

”.

It then decreases to 100 euros for households "

whose ratio is greater than or equal to 14,400 euros and strictly less than 27,500 euros

", as well as "

for households using logs or other fuels (logs, chips) whose ratio is lower at 14,400 euros

”.

For fuel oil, the check amounts to 200 euros “

for households whose ratio is less than 10,800 euros and 100 euros for households whose ratio remains below 20,000 euros

”.

Agnès Pannier-Runacher also warns the French against scams and calls on them "

to denounce them

".

She cites, for example, calls for “

thermal renovation

” or “

one-euro photovoltaic panels

”.

"

The State does not approach the French

", recalls the minister.
