Horacio
Rodríguez Larreta was shown this Wednesday together with Martín Lousteau
, on the same day that the radical senator crossed Mauricio Macri.
In a militancy meeting, they shared space with the other PRO candidates for the leadership of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
Except for one: Jorge Macri, the former president's cousin, whom he promotes as his own.
It was a "relaxed meeting" -as they described-, with members of
La Generación
, a national under 40 group of Together for Change.
In addition to Lousteau,
there were Soledad Acuña and Fernán Quirós
, two Buenos Aires ministers who, like the senator,
are still in the race to succeed Rodríguez Larreta
, who will go in search of the presidency.
The cocktail was also attended by senators and national and provincial legislators, forming a group of
just over 40 leaders
, among whom
was not Jorge Macri
, the current Minister of Government of the City who received the blessing of his cousin, former President Mauricio Macri, to become the successor of Rodríguez Larreta and who at the end of February
had differed from Lousteau
by highlighting the participation of the
former Minister of Economy in the Kirchner government
.
“We were with @horaciorlarreta and other leaders at the annual meeting of @LaGeneracionArg.
We talked about the importance of a renewal in politics: people with ideas who are capable of providing a different perspective.
Together for Change encourages new leadership
”, Lousteau highlighted in a post he made on Twitter after the cocktail.
The final sentence of the radical's post
sounded similar
to postulates of the former president.
Curiously,
at the time of this publication, the meeting
had not been shared
on the Buenos Aires mayor's social networks
.
According to what was known,
Rodríguez Larreta arrived at the site intended for the meeting after 8:00 p.m.
and
embraced everyone
present, before the inclement weather caused by the rain that fell on Wednesday forced the meeting to continue indoors.
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta was shown this Wednesday together with Martín Lousteau and PRO candidates for the headquarters of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
The movement was organized by the group chaired by
Manuel Vidal, Chief of Staff of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Education
that is directed by Acuña, and which is part of the management of Together for Change.
Ricardo López Murphy and Diego Santilli, other important figures within that opposition space, contributed their presence.
Cristian Ritondo, Martín Tetaz and Roberto García Moritán did the same.
Martín Lousteau ratified his candidacy in the City and crossed Mauricio Macri
Martín Lousteau confirmed this Wednesday his candidacy for head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, shortly after Mauricio Macri asked that Jorge Macri be the head of the Buenos Aires ticket.
"Obviously I am still a candidate. The preference that the former president has, and I understand it because the PRO is his party and his cousin, it is good that it is so, but in the City Juntos por el Cambio governs, the PRO does not
govern
" , he expressed in dialogue with radio Con Vos.
After stepping aside in his presidential candidacy, Macri in a series of interviews asked that his cousin and current Buenos Aires government minister be the candidate to succeed Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
Macri also added that Rodríguez Larreta will end up supporting the candidacy of his current chief of staff "because things fall under their own weight", although that did not seem to happen, at least for now, given the hug between the mayor of
Buenos
Aires and the radical senator, and the absence in the militant meeting of the former mayor of Vicente López.
