Kim Jong-un's sister says North Korea is in the same boat as Russia.
PYONGANG - According to Alexander Sladkov, a longtime Russian military correspondent who sits on a Kremlin committee mobilizing for the war in Ukraine, North Korea wants to send troops into the war to support Russia.

It's not the first assessment of its kind. "DPRK is ready to send troops to Ukraine to take part in the special military operation in support of Russia," Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov wrote in his vlog.
This requires the "OK" from China.
According to Sladkov, no less than half a million North Korean soldiers are ready to join the Russian forces.
Sladkov explained that North Korea has announced the recruitment of volunteers willing to take part in Russian operations in Ukraine.
On the first day, thousands would have agreed to go to war.
North Korea wants to send 50,000 troops to Russia
“I spoke to a friend of mine who is the head of a Korean War Veterans organization.
He was here recently.
I asked him, 'What do you have?
He said: '50,000 special forces are ready for action,'" Sladkov said.
It is not the first time that Pyongyang has signaled its willingness to help Russia in its military operations.
Kim Yo-jong, Kim Jong-un's sister, said her country is "in the same boat" as Russia.
Therefore, Pyongyang is ready to send not only volunteers, but also troops currently on active duty to help Russia.
In addition, Kim Yo-jong stated that there could be a war between North Korea and the USA.

North Korea is in the same boat as Russia
Kim Yo-jong recently told Korea's state-run Central News Agency
KCNA
that the "Pacific Ocean will be used as a firing range" if US interference continues.
Among other things, CNN had reported on this.
Yo-jong is considered a possible successor to her brother.
She expresses herself more and more frequently on foreign policy.
Most of the time it's threats that she utters against the United States or South Korea.
In November 2022, she warned the US would face a "deadly security crisis" if it continued to condemn missile testing.
The United States is a "barking dog gripped by fear".
She likes to threaten other countries with nuclear strikes.
