on France 2. A choice that had disturbed some viewers and, among them, the presenter Christophe Hondelatte who was surprised that such visibility was given to a killer.
Nicknamed "The Serpent" for his multiple escapes and the deceitfulness of his methods, Sobhraj was sentenced to twenty years in prison, in Nepal, for murders committed in Asia in the 1970s. He was released last December .
