“
Fortunately, it is not another victim
”, comments a policeman.
Two months after the discovery of a dismembered body in pipes in Saint-Priest, two pieces of jawbone were found in the same town, on March 20, by a sanitation company.
The results of the autopsy carried out by the investigators of the judicial police have confirmed that these bones are those of the 17-year-old young man who went missing in mid-January and part of whose dismembered body had been found in pipes, still at Saint-Priest, a few hundred meters from the second discovery.
Quickly, a 28-year-old man, "
known and treated for psychiatric disorders for several years
", had been arrested and indicted for murder as part of this investigation.
During his police custody,
"the defendant had disputed the alleged facts while making increasingly incoherent remarks
", then indicated the Lyon prosecutor's office.
Investigations are still underway to determine the exact circumstances, the motive for this act, but also to understand how human remains ended up in two places separated by several hundred meters.
