A Greek railway inspector was charged and remanded in custody on Friday more than a month after the train disaster that killed 57 people in central Greece, we learned from a judicial source.
This inspector of station masters who was on duty during this accident, was charged with "
disturbance of traffic safety
" which caused the death of many people, according to the same source.
He is the second railway employee to be charged.
The first suspect, the station master on duty at the time of the accident, was charged with the same charge and placed in pre-trial detention a week after this tragedy which shook the country.
